IN THE MATTER OF THE
SINGLE COUNTY DITCH #1332
PETITIONED FOR BY MICHAEL C. KLEMAN
TO THE OWNERS OF THE LAND
AFFECTED BY THE PROPOSED IMPROVEMENT

YOU, and Each of You, are hereby notified that on the 5th day of January, 2018, the above named petitioner filed a petition to reconstruct, clean and maintain an existing drainage system on the proposed course hereinafter set forth.

The following is the legal description of the beginning, route, and end of the proposed project:

Commencing 320 feet north of the SW Corner of the NW Quarter of Section 21, T 2 S, R 6 E, American Township, Allen County, Ohio. This point being approximately 15 feet south of the north property line of Parcel 36-2100-02-012.001 and 60 feet east of the centerline of Baty Road. Thence continuing north adjacent to Baty Road approximately 575 feet to an existing culvert. Thence continuing west through the existing culvert under Baty Road approximately 3,400 feet west/northwest to its confluence with the Steinke Petitioned Ditch #1253, south of East Road. The existing drainage system was previously constructed as through Ohio Revised Code 6131, as Smith Petitioned Ditch #466 in 1909. The Project shall be identified as the Smith Improvement Project Petitioned Ditch #1332.

Because it is claimed that your property will be benefited by the proposed improvement, either directly by having a part of it on your property, or indirectly by having stormwater runoff from your property drain through it. If the Board of County Commissioners, after viewing the proposed course and conducting a public hearing, approves the project, your property would be assessed for your portion of the costs of engineering, construction and future maintenance.

You are further notified that the Board of County Commissioners of Allen County has fixed the following date, time, and place for the view and first hearing on the proposed improvement:
