PETITIONED FOR MAINTENANCE BY STEPHEN E. YODER,
MANAGER OF SHAWNEE DEVELOPMENT, LTD
TO THE OWNERS OF THE LAND
AFFECTED BY THE PROPOSED IMPROVEMENT
YOU, and Each of You, are hereby notified the above named petitioner, Stephen E. Yoder, Manager of Shawnee Development LTD, filed a Single County Ditch Maintenance Petition, which will be referred to as the Shawnee Development LTD-Monticello Petitioned Ditch #1333.
The following is the description of the storm sewer system that is hereby being proposed for permanent maintenance:
The following is the description of the storm sewer that is hereby being proposed for maintenance. Part of a tract of land described as the Shawnee Development LTD/ Monticello Phase 1 and 2, Deed Volume 880, Page 278 and Phase 3, Deed Volume 2006, Page 13147 which is situated in the SE ¼ of Section 9, NW ¼ of Section 15, and NE ¼ of Section 16, T4S, R6E, Shawnee Township, Allen County, Ohio.
This petition shall include the drainage system that has been highlighted in yellow on the Bacon & Associates, LLC, Shawnee Development, LTD, Stormwater Ditch Easement Site Plan dated January 3, 2018. It is the intention of this petition to provide a maintained drainage system outside of the road right-of-way. Shawnee Township shall continue to maintain the storm sewer systems within the road right-of-way.
You are being notified of the proposed maintenance because it is claimed that your property benefits from the drainage improvement, either directly by having a part of it on your property, or indirectly by having stormwater runoff from your property, drain through it. If the Board of Allen County Commissioners, after conducting a public hearing, approves the petition, the project will be placed on maintenance and your property would be assessed for your portion of the maintenance.
The Board of Commissioners has fixed the following date, time, and place for the maintenance hearing on the existing open ditch:
